Two teenage boys were arrested Friday in connection with a sexual assault on at least one of three Chatsworth High School girls in a park, police and news reports said. LAPD Sgt. Lonnie Tiano Division said the boys were arrested following questioning of a number of students Thursday and Friday.
Tiano could not confirm a City News Service report that a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were arrested around 6 p.m. Detective Mike Fesperman told the news agency that the older teen was booked on suspicion of sexual battery while the other was booked on suspicion of sexual assault on a victim incapable of defending herself
.
One teen held Thursday was released after questioning, City News said three teenage girls found unconscious, Thursday after classmates at the park possibly sexually assaulted them were having trouble remembering anything to tell investigators, officials said Friday.
Police have detained and questioned many of the girls' fellow Chatsworth High School ninth-graders. Because all of the victims and suspects are minors, police were hesitant to say much more on Friday.
Its crazy how all these young teenagers are getting into trouble for stupid situations? They are messing up their lives and they don’t even realize.

Landlord Trying To Kill One Of His Tenants
A landlord has been indicted after prosecutors say he planted a homemade bomb trying to kill a tenant he wanted to evict from a commercial building in Brooklyn. The tenant lost a leg in the blast.
Prosecutors say 38-year-old Yung Tang placed the bomb in a bag next to Israel Halberstam's minivan while it was parked by Halberstam's Brooklyn home in March 2002. The bag exploded when Halberstam tried to move it.Prosecutors say Tang wanted Halberstam dead because he owed about $100,000 in rent on a showroom for his electronics business.
It's not clear whether Tang has a lawyer. No telephone number could be found for his Greenwood Lake home. When this landlord is found, he deserves to be in jail for life. i say this because as a landlord you do not kill your tenants because they owe you money, just take the situation to the police and the will handle it. Now look, Police are lookin all over for Yung Tang and when they find him he is gonna be in serious trouble.

Sean Bell's Killers Found Not Guilty!!!!!

A New York judge has found three police officers not guilty in the death of an unarmed black man who was hit by a barrage of bullets and died hours before his wedding.
Justice Arthur Cooperman cleared two officers of manslaughter and other charges and a third of reckless endangerment in the death of Sean Bell, 23. Along with two friends, Bell was shot after a bachelor party at a Queens strip club on Nov. 25, 2006. The officers fired 50 shots at him.
The case has generated outrage in New York's black community. A crowd of at least 200 people gathered outside the building, waiting for news of a verdict. Some wore buttons with Bell's picture or held signs saying "Justice for Sean Bell." The Reverend Al Sharpton is calling for a weekend of protest and civil disobedience in New York City. The judge told the court that the police officers' version of events was more credible than the victims' version, and that prosecutors had not proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the shootings were unjustified.
This case brought a lot of rage among the black community. It is not fair that these officers were let go. They killed an innocent man who did not shoot back once!!!!! Those cops deserve to be in jail for life. My question to these cops is that when they stopped shooting to reload their gun and they did not see Sean Bell armed or shooting back, why did they continue to fire their guns???

Too Much Shootings Killing Inncoent People!!!!
A 15-year-old girl was killed and five young men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds after two separate shootings in the same neighborhood in Queens. Brandon Bethea was shot in the head just after 11 p.m. Saturday in front of a housing project inFar Rockaway. She was taken to St. John's Hospital, where she died. The victim's boyfriend, Isiah Alston, also 15, told the Daily News that Brandon was not the intended target. "She was coming to see me," he said. "Somebody was shooting. It wasn't meant for her. That's my girl."
He said Brandon, who was with a group of friends, lived in Jamaica queens and was a student at Intermediate School 53. Family members told 1010 WINS radio that Brandon was planning to attend John Adams High School in Ozone Park in the fall. Police were still seeking Brandon's killer Sunday. Six people were arrested in connection in the shootings a few hours later of five men near a restaurant at Beach 21st Street and Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway. A revolver was recovered from a jeep.
This shooting situation is getting out of hand to the point that innocent people are dying. People don’t even feel safe in their own neighborhoods because now these shootings occur in the daytime. All I can say is that we have to be more careful and watch closely to our surroundings.

NYC Provides Tougher child Welfare Laws

Child welfare authorities are allowed to remove newborns from homes if the parents had other children taken from their custody. This case is still open under a new policy enacted by the city. The policy was influenced in part by the death of Pablo Paez, an 11-week-old whose older sibling was taken from the same home a year earlier and placed in foster care.
An ex-junkie beat her newborn son without mercy until he ended up gravely injured in the emergency room with a fractured skull, bleeding on the brain and broken bones. Pablo's mother, Kiana Paez, 23, was charged in April with second-degree murder in the beating death of the child. Child welfare workers had been in frequent contact with Paez since the first baby was placed in foster care because of violence in the home, but they did not try to remove Pablo. The child welfare policy includes a terms for "extraordinary instances," where the child may need to stay in the home, and removals are not automatic. When caseworkers learn of a pregnancy, they must have a safety conference with family members to evaluate the risk for the infant. If the caseworker feels the baby should stay in the parent's home, a supervisor must sign off on the decision. Otherwise, the agency will start proceedings to take the child from the parents.
I feel that it is a good idea to monitor the parents but not a good idea to take the child away from them. Yea it is a crime to beat your children to the point that they die, but sometimes you have to discipline your children. I say just monitor the parents because to have my child taken away, that would just hurt so badly. So, parents don’t beat your children to the point that child services has to come and take them away because you would dread the fact that you lost your child.
